I first experienced the wonders of wheel throwing on a kick wheel at the age of ten at the Vancouver School of Art during Saturday morning art classes. I went to these classes for seven years and during this time I was introduced to pottery, drawing, oil painting, print making and many other media. After a hiatus of some forty years, I took an introductory pottery class at Port Moody Art Centre and became totally hooked once again. That was twelve years ago. I am a hobby potter and I mainly make functional vessels fired at cone 6. I work out of the Port Moody Centre.
