Clive Tucker grew up in LondonEngland. In the 1990’s he moved to Ontario and started a pottery business after apprenticing in Scotland with ceramic artist Lotte Glob. He established a successful line of production pottery in Ontario that was available in gift shops across that province. Following his success with production pottery Tucker moved to Vancouver to challenge himself further at Emily Carr Institute of Art and DesignThere, without the cares and woes of making a living at his work, he embraced the freedom of art school and had a blast. He now lives and works in Port Moody where he has a pottery studio on Murray Street and teaches at local art centres. His work ranges from functional pottery, whimsical teapots and large scale sculptures. www.clivetuckerceramics.ca.
